Officially Retiring!

Campbell would like to announce that she's officially retiring! That's right . . . you heard it, she's officially retiring . . . . all of her preemie clothes that is. This is Campbell yesterday in a newborn outfit and it seems to fit her pretty nicely. We realized that when she would stretch her leg and you could see her foot trying to press through the footsie part of the outfit it was time to say goodbye to the preemie clothes. Martha has been spending the last few days washing all her newborn clothes for Campbell to wear.

Campbell - enjoy your new wardrobe! And just think, it won't be long until you are in the next size, and the next, and the next.... A whole new wardrobe every few months - not counting that the seasons will be changing, too! Hope you and your Mommy like to shop!

Martha--
Molly had that same outfit with the froggy feet... It made me so sad when she couldn't wear it anymore!!
She is growing up so fast!

Campbell you gave me a scare! When I saw retire I was afraid you were retiring from the blog! Then I read on, you are really growing and it looks as though you are right where you should be if you had waited until April 28th to arrive. Julia was only 6 lbs when she was born and only 5 lbs 9 oz when she came home. You and your mommy are going to have so much fun shopping---just don't go crazy!
You are such a pretty little girl.
Love

Hi Campbell!
This is Grandma talking with some really cool advice for you. Insist (if you throw in some screaming and crying, I'm sure it will work!!!!) Just be natural and be the fashion model we know you already are. Back to my thought, INSIST that you wear a new newborn outfit everyday for the next 10 weeks. If you should run out before then (I bet you don't, I've seen you closet), INSIST and we've already discussed how you should insist, that they take you shopping and buy more, just enough so that you can start over with the next size up. GURL!!!! YOU JUST FIGURED HOW TO ALWAYS HAVE NEW CLOTHES!WE love you very much, Grandma and Grandpa

Actually, Campbell, I've found that if you cry on the phone to Grandmas and Nana about your lack of clothes, they go running out to find some new ones for you. It doesn't really take that much effort, so you should be set!

Love you, Aunt Ju-Ju
