As always, here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. Campbell has a new word: "ruffing". It's her word for dogs barking and it's so cute to hear.
2. Speaking of the dogs, I'm pretty sure Maggie was "barking" at/with them yesterday.
3. While watching the Royal Wedding with me this morning, Campbell kept saying "Oh, she's sooo boootiful!"
4. Maggie has mastered sipping through a straw and she makes the cutest scrunchy face when doing it :)
5. Campbell tried to pull that fake eating trick (from last week with the eggs) with brussell sprouts. Then, she tried to feed them to the dogs. Isn't she too young to try these kinds of things?!

5 on Friday
Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. Maggie has started repeating "uh oh". It's so cute to see her learning to use her voice. A lot of times it actually sounds like "uh uh" but she's getting there :)
2. Yesterday we were in the car and Campbell was being very active in the back seat. At one point we heard some slapping sounds and then she said "Ow! Ow! I'm hurting myself!" We responded "Well...stop."
3. Reason Maggie often eats naked:

4. Maggie got an early birthday present from my parents: a play house for our back yard. Both girls love it! However, on this rainy day, the box is an even bigger hit!
5. We boiled eggs to dye for Easter. A few cracked so Robbie decided to give them to the girls for snack (I would never do this because I hate eggs of all kind). Maggie wolfed hers down but Campbell was not a fan...but she was very polite about it. She took one little bite and put a fake smile on her face and said "Mmmm, yummy." She then proceeded to take fake bites and continued to say how delicious it was and how much she loved it.

March for Babies, Run for Dimes Conclusion
Well, it's finally the time for March for Babies, Run for Dimes to conclude. I have really enjoyed my time the past 3 and 1/2 months learning more about running and doing a little bit to raise some money for the March of Dimes. Although I fell far short of my goal of 100 miles, I realize that running 50+ miles in 3 and 1/2 months is more than I've ever run in my life. Also, I know this is not the end of my endeavor to gain physical fitness. I have committed to the women's mini-triathlon in July and am actually excited about it. I've been biking (some, not enough, but that will change soon) and we will soon be joining our local YMCA so I can start swimming. I appreciate all of your support and can't wait to update you on my triathlon training!

Come See Me
Rock Hill has an annual festival called Come See Me. It is really an awesome series of events for families. We have been in the past but this year was the first year that Campbell was really able to participate and we had more fun than ever before!
It started with a music night where Campbell got to meet the "hosts" Glenn and Glennda.

She also got to meet Apollo from Family Trust Credit Union. One of our good friends is works there and we have the girls' savings accounts there. They have an awesome kids' program and we highly recommend them!

We brought Emily (our friend, Crystal's, daughter) with us. We had so much fun with her...she loved wearing Maggie's hat!
Campbell was so brave on this big slide!
The next day was the parade and then Gourmet Gardens with our friends, the Popes. Campbell loved watching the parade and it was bittersweet to watch her watch the parade while sitting on the side of the street with her friend rather than in my lap.

The next day we went to have ice cream sundaes in Glencairn Gardens. It was Eleanor's birthday, so it was even more special! Campbell apparently thought the whole event was a party for Eleanor ;)

We also went to a picnic with live music with the Popes but didn't take any pictures. It was a great week and I can't wait for next year's Come See Me!

5 on Friday
Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. Maggie has started bouncing to music. It's so cute but of course she stops as soon as I whip out the camera!
2. Campbell has been earning stickers for every day she has no accidents. She had to earn 20 to get her new big-girl bike and every night at bathtime we review her day and that's when she gets her sticker if she's earned it. It has taken her several weeks to get all of her stickers and the past few days, she's been stuck on the last one. Wednesday afternoon she went to the bathroom and I heard some papers rustling. She ran into the living room telling me "I got my last sticker!" Sure enough, the little stinker had gotten a sticker out and put it onto the chart and somehow thought I wouldn't notice ;)
3. Campbell did finally earn her bike and loves it! I might have cried a little bit the first time she pedaled it around our house :(
4. Since Maggie really became mobile, the girls are playing together more than ever. It's been so fun to watch Campbell say "come on, Maggie!" and go play with her.
5. Maggie loves for whoever is holding her to let her lean backwards and hang her head down. It's gotten so that we have to be careful when we're holding her because she'll throw herself backwards!

5 on Friday
Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. We often give Campbell notice of how many minutes she has left to do things. For example, we'll say "We're leaving the park in 5 minutes". Well, we've noticed recently that she's turning the tables on us. When we ask her to do things, she will kind of bend forward, hold up her hand and say "5 more minutes". Robbie happened to get a great picture of this pose when he went to take her picture at her 1st visit to the dentist this week.
It's cute now, but I know it will be driving me crazy soon so I need to nip it in the bud!
2. Maggie is saying "Mama". Granted, she says it more like "mamamamamama" and I may not always happen to be around, but I'm even more happy because Campbell had about 10 words before she said "Mama" :) Oh, and she doesn't say "Dada", so I "won" ;)
3. It's so funny how having a 3 year old shows you how unaware you are of what you say. The other day I told Campbell "No way". A few seconds later I heard her say "ho say". For a few seconds I was very confused until I realized she actually said "Jose" and she was finishing my statement...because I do indeed often tell her " No way, Jose". :)

6 on Sunday
Once again, we were very busy on Friday and I didn't get a chance to do my 5 on Friday post. To make up for being late, I'll make it 6 on Sunday!
Here are 6 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. There is a mirror on the wall where Maggie's changing table is. She likes to stand and look at herself in the mirror. This week she and Campbell were both looking at themselves and playing in the mirror. Then Maggie leaned forward and gave herself a kiss. So cute!
2. Campbell has been making up her own songs lately. They have been about lots of different topics: Little Einsteins, chocolate, grass, etc. My favorite is what she has entitled "The Chocolate Song" and it goes a little like this:
"The chocolate song, the chocolate song,
ooooh, ooooh,
the chocolate song, the chocolate song,
lalalala,
the chocolate song, the chocolaaaaaate soooooooong!"
I think we have the next Mozart, don't you?
3. Maggie loves to wave and it is so cute when she does it because her hand kind of flops around. She waves to get attention, to say hi and bye, and in response when someone waves to her. We went to breakfast last weekend and Robbie carried her across the restaurant to ask the waitress something. As he was talking, she was staring at our table and waving her hand as hard as she could!
4. Campbell has entered the dreaded phase of "why?"
Here is our conversation from this morning:
"Mommy, why are we stopping for gas?"
"Because our car needs gas."
"Why does the car needs gas?"
"Because it needs it to go."
"Why?"
"Well, it's kind of like when people are hungry, we eat food. Cars need gas like people need food."
"Why do people need food?"
"Well, we need food so we don't get too hungry and so we keep going."
"Why do we get hungry?"
We had similar conversations today about Maggie's sickness (she has a cold this weekend), riding bikes, and why we wear shoes.
I'm exhausted.
5. Maggie started pulling up on everything today, including her crib. This may be something I don't love in the weeks to come seeing as she's not very good at getting back down yet, but for now I'm celebrating a new milestone she's mastered.
6. One of my favorite times of the day is right around 10:00 at night when I go into the girls' rooms one last time to cover them up, check on them, etc. I love looking at their sweet sleeping faces and often am overcome with the miracles that we have been blessed with.
Oh and a bonus picture from our 10 month photo shoot just because it made me giggle:

Maggie- 10 months
Maggie is 10 months old!
She has been busy this month and has lots of "firsts"! She started crawling and babbling, and is trying hard to pull up (can do it in the bathtub). She got another tooth and eating continues to be one of her favorite activities! She can hold her own bottle and we're working on drinking from a sippy cup and an open cup. Now that she's mobile, she's constantly trying to follow her sister around and I just know she'll be getting into everything soon. We are having fun experimenting with pigtails and hair products. Maggie loves being outside and I know we'll be getting lots of use of our swingset this spring!
