We'll start with the prayer request . . . take a deep breath . . . everything is fine (we hope) . . . what I'm about to describe is probably nothing more than two special education teachers being over-cautious . .. but one can never know. So over the past two months, every once in a while, Martha will notice that all of a sudden, Campbell will roll her eyes up and back and hold them them for about 5 - 10 seconds and her eyelids would kind of twitch, then her eyes will return to normal. She doesn't stiffen up or shake or "snap out of it" like a typical person having a seizures (with our jobs, Martha and I have seen our fair share of seizures). We have always been able to find a "cause" (sun in her eyes, playing with her by lifting her up and down really fast, etc). Then a couple of weeks ago she saw her do this again for no reason so we called the doctor and scheduled the test. Well, the next night, I was joking with Martha's mom (Nana) about Martha having munchausen syndrome (only a joke). The next day, Campbell was at Nana's house with Macy, our 3 year old niece. Macy turns to Nana and says, "Nana, look what Campbell is doing!" then Macy rolls her eyes towards the back of her head. Okay, besides Martha, now a 3 year old has seen this too. It's time to take the "eye rolling" seriously. So Monday morning at 7am, Campbell is getting an EEG at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte. We'll post once we hear the results (within a day) . . . hence the prayer request . . . we'd really appreciate it!
On to something more exciting . . . so today we took Campbell, along with Martha's sister Emily and her kids (Ethan and Macy) to the Charlotte Renaissance Festival.
Here is me and Campbell at the entrance . . .
Here is Martha and Campbell . . . it was such a beautiful day here are my two beautiful girls!

Ethan decided that he wanted to partake in some Renaissance activities so here is a video of him taking down the evil towel attached to a bale of hay . . . or his attempt to . . .
Here is Ethan partaking in another "authentic" Renaissance activity . . .

You guys will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Good Luck Campbell!
We'll definitely be thinking about all of you! I always love the good mix of seriousness and humor on your blog posts. The "group" shot made me laugh out loud.
Marth and Robbie I will most certainly keep Campbell in my prayers. I hope everything will be OK.
Susan
I'm sure Campbell is fine but extra prayers are always a good thing. Thanks for the pictures of your fun day out. I, too, really loved that group picture. Kisses to Campbell. Love, Mom/Nana
Prayers to you!
Robbie and Martha, Campbell is on our prayer list, and I know she is going to be fine. Keep me posted (of course you will, I'm your mom). I can also add her to our church prayer list if you would like. They know me, I stay on that list all the time.....HAHAHAHA! But when I hit the mental hospital I will have to check out where they hide their prayer list! (according to Robbie, that's where I'm headed, anyone with a son like Robbie, is bound to spend some quality time in a mental hospital!!!!)I love you all, Mom
First, we will definitely be keeping you in our prayers. Campbell is such a trooper so I'm sure everything will turn out just fine. Extra hugs for all of you! Second, LOVE the pics and the story of C barfing on you. Anna barfed in a book closed the pages and then handed it to Patrick. They have such a way, those girls! Let us know the update ASAP.
Hey I just saw this post today and immediately stopped and said a prayer for Campbell! Hoping and praying all turns out well!
