A pitiful sight.
Campbell is sick with an ear infection and some sort of virus that causes fever and a head to toe rash. Yesterday she was so pitiful that we made the perfect Elmo-watching pallet on the floor and she just laid there for a good bit of the afternoon (when she wasn't pitifully sitting on my or Robbie's lap).

Sounds like roseola. Double yuck that there's an ear infection to go with it. Hope she's feeling better soon!
We considered roseola but that usually presents with 3 days of fever then a rash and she only had the fever about 36 hours before the rash. Her cheeks only are that red when the motrin wears off and her fever goes up...
Oh, well, a virus is a virus and there's not much to do except try to keep her comfortable!
Poor thing! She does look pretty pitiful. We hope you get better soon Campbell!
