We had an appointment with the specialist in Charlotte on Friday. They did a growth ultrasound and Maggie looks great! She continues to measure ahead. She weighed in at 3 pounds and 11 ounces! That's almost twice Campbell's birth weight!
She was asleep during the ultrasound but we got some cute pictures. It's amazing how big she looks!
We tried to wake her up and she didn't like her sleep being disturbed. Check out that frown!
So cute!
The only slight concern we have right now is my blood pressure. On Thursday I woke up feeling "puffy" (remember swelling is an indication of rising blood pressure and something I'm hyper-aware of). I pulled out my home blood pressure monitor that I used when I was pregnant with Campbell. My blood pressure Thursday was 119/86. The top number is fine but the bottom number was too close to the 90 cutoff for my comfort. I called my OB and they said to have the specialist's nurse take my blood pressure Friday morning at my appointment to confirm. On Friday morning it was 122/86...so that bottom number was still high. Again, the numbers aren't terrible, we are just concerned that this might be the beginning of an upwards trend. When I was pregnant with Campbell we started monitoring my blood pressure at 24 weeks and every few days it would go up a point or two...so we'll just continue to monitor it.

Oh that is just PRECIOUS! Praying that your BP won't go any higher!
Love the pictures! Hope your BP stays put for another 6 weeks, but Maggie is a GREAT size!!
Maggie is so cute! You have made it so far already...you should be so proud of yourself. I hope your blood pressure stays down for another month at least.
