We took Maggie back to the pediatrician (visit #4 in the past 2 weeks) today for continued concerns with coughing, wheezing, and fever. The doctor said she is continuing to wheeze badly and was concerned that she is not getting better faster. There was some discussion of a trip to the hospital but it was decided that we could do what the hospital would do (breathing/nebulizer treatments, alternating tylenol/ibuprofen, and steroids)...that is unless she gets worse and we may have to re-consider. He didn't want to give her any more antibiotics since she already had the Rocephin shot and because her lung x-ray was clear on Sunday.
So, for right now we will have to be extra vigilant about her breathing treatments which is hard because she hates them and screams and fights. We'll go back to the pediatrician Friday morning unless she gets worse before then.
Thanks for continued prayers...she needs them. She clearly doesn't feel well and it's taking a toll on all of us.

| Looks pretty happy, doesn't she? I'm sad we haven't seen more of that smile recently |

I've been thinking about her! I certainly hope Maggie gets to feeling better very soon. It's a good sign that she didn't have to be admitted to the hospital and you will do a very good job taking care of her at home.
Poor thing. We're praying for you all. Keep up the good work. You're doing great.
