A tea party fit for a princess!

We had the best time at Campbell's birthday party!  We decided this year to have a smaller-scale party at home rather than a big budget-busting blowout at somewhere like Monkey Joe's.

We set the table with china and fabric napkins that my mom decorated for us.  I found some fun decorations at Hobby Lobby and borrowed some others.

I cleaned out the Dollar Tree's jewelry selection :)

The invitations suggested Princess attire and the girls were all so cute!

We made crown shaped PB&J sandwiches with a crown cookie cutter I got at Hobby Lobby and fruit princess wands made out of skewers with grapes and pineapple (cut the pineapple with a star cookie cutter I also got at HL).  The rest of the food included mini muffins, scones that my good friend, Sarah Pope, helped me back all the way from Texas via FaceTime, and cakepops.  My mom also helped out by making the sweet tea and chicken salad sandwiches for the grown ups.

The girls enjoyed their fancy tea party...especially the blue cupcakes Campbell picked out!

Each girl decorated a plastic picture frame with craft jewels and we took pictures of each girl with our special guest...Rapunzel!

Campbell was really excited to see Rapunzel!
Rapunzel is a face painter as well as a princess!

The girls were fascinated!

The girls' American Girl dolls even had to get dressed up!  The dresses were made by our friend, Pickles daClown and can be found here: http://www.thecostumequeen.com/doll-costumes

After the party, Campbell told us that it was "the best birthday party ever".  Made all the work worth it!

What an adorable party! I love to see pictures of sweet parties at home : )

I have followed your blog since Campbell was in the NICU and it warmed my heart to see this post of her looking so happy and healthy-what an answered prayer!
