Well, Miss Campbell has had a busy week. To celebrate her 6 month birthday, we headed up to the NICU to visit Nurse Anna and some of our other friends there. We're sad we missed Nurse Christine and Nurse Courtney because they work at night, but it was still a great visit. They were all amazed at how big our baby girl has gotten. They kept talking about her cheeks and squeezing those chubby thighs :)
When we got home we noticed that Campbell's socks are definitely not fitting anymore. These socks are supposed to be up to size 6 months and they are already too small (Campbell is wearing size 3 months clothes). I guess I shouldn't be surprised since her daddy wears a size 17, her aunt wears a size 12, and her Grandma Parker wears a size 11. *Sigh*...I guess she won't have my size 7s...
The pediatrician says we can start on rice cereal but I told Robbie that I didn't think she was ready because she can't sit in her high chair yet... Well, he proved me wrong and look at this big girl! I may have to give in and try the cereal...be on the lookout for pictures to come!
Campbell met a new friend today. Mrs. Kathy will be working with Campbell once a week on her motor skills. Mrs. Kathy is a physical therapist that actually works with me and does individual therapy on the side. Like many preemies, Campbell is delayed on her motor skills (even for her adjusted age) so this weekly therapy will help get her on track!
Apparently her therapy was hard work for Campbell and for Daddy!

Dont worry,Lulu didnt sit in her highchair until a while after she started cereal... she just sat in her little vibrating chair. Starting cereal is a challenge but dont give up! Call me if you want to discuss at all! Love seeing how GREAT Campbell is doing!! She is a true miracle!
Campbell you are so cute. I love the picture of you and daddy taking a nap.
Random or not, it's a great post! Love all the pics. Anna's high chair has a leaning back feature which we used until just recently when Anna started sitting on her own. In fact, I think Anna learned how to sit better using the high chair because it provided more support. We still don't use the tray, but just buckle her in. Cereal is fun because you get to see how they react to a different texture. Just remember to take it at Campbell's own pace. Lots of babies are ahead of Anna in the eating department, but I just go along on our schedule.
You're a cutie Campbell and we're glad you're doing so well.
Love, H, P and A
Campbell you are doing great! You look so much like a big girl in your highchair and I can't wait to get pictures of your first eating experience. Julia had her first meal in her bouncy seat and she was a big baby! I can tell you and your daddy are real dedicated to your workouts, it does tire you out. Hope to see you soon.
Love Cousin Susan
