Right after our trip to Atlanta, we packed back up and went to Myrtle Beach with my family. We had a great week with my parents, my sister Julie, her husband Dean, and their 3 kids, Jacob, Zachary, and Lydia, and my sister Sara, her husband John and his son Potter. This year we stayed at Ocean Lakes Campground in a really nice house. It was even more special because when I was little, this was where we went every summer. I loved sharing it with my girls! We had so much fun at the pool, the beach, playing Putt Putt, going to Zachary's birthday party at Nascar Speed Park, and even just letting the kids play in the little blow up swimming pool on the porch. Robbie and I even got to have a very nice date night out when Nana and Pop watched the kids!
We enjoyed time on the beach. Maggie did pretty well considering it was her first real experience with sand and waves. Campbell was like a fish. The waves would knock her down and she'd pop right back up for more. I continue to be amazed by her love of all things water.
One of our favorite things about Ocean Lakes was riding on the golf cart. Robbie figured out how to rig her booster seat and turn it into a "golf car seat". SHE LOVED IT.
It was great to spend time with family and friends (some of our other friends the Needhams/Catoes/Lucas families also happened to be vacationing at Ocean Lakes).
