Weight Loss Wednesday

Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday, a new weekly post on the Compton Corner for all of us who are trying to lose a few pounds.  See the first post of this series to see what it's all about.  If you would like to join our check in, please leave a comment with your name and weight loss goal.  Next week just let me know how much you've lost and I'll add you!

What were your struggles/successes?
I struggled with hunger! I was starving this week so I need to invest in some healthy snacks. I did do my 3 workouts of Couch to 5K but I didn't do any extra workouts (Jillian Michael's 30 day shred) like I had planned.

What is your number one tip for losing weight?

oops, forgot to answer the last question. Ummm...my number 1 tip for losing weight...I like to have a few kinds of hard candy around because sometimes after a meal I will want to have something sweet and a 20 calorie butterscotch is much better for my diet than a couple of reduced fat oreos at 150 calories.

What were your struggles/successes?
too many struggles. 1 small success that i'm going to cling to is that I didn't go back downstairs at midnight for a snack.

What is your number one tip for losing weight? watch the junkfood. (and not as it passes thru your mouth)

I've lost 1 pound this week.
I struggled because we were at the beach on vacation and I simply love to eat.
My number one tip for losing weight is to walk. Alot. I chose to walk at the outlet malls and shopping centers. That's the only way I managed to lose 1 pound since I did eat.
