Martha's Update:
I lost a pound this week. I wish it was more but since I'm still breastfeeding (pumping), I'm nervous about restricting my calories too much since I can't afford to hurt my milk supply (I barely make enough for Maggie as it is...). I also "only" exercised 3 times (I say "only" because even though that was less than my goal, it's more than I used to exercise!). My goals for this coming week are to exercise 4 times and I'm looking forward to going for a run with my sister Sara on Saturday!
One of our favorite healthy recipes is this recipe for whole wheat banana bread. I make it with applesauce instead of oil and bake in muffin tins for about 15 minutes. So yummy!

Just for fun, here is a video of Campbell exercising with me to Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD. Please excuse my huffing and puffing as I was trying to videotape and exercise at the same time :)

This week: 0.3 lb loss(and that was after I nursed Lydia - is that cheating?)
Struggle: midnight snacks - if I wake up in the middle of the night, I am hungry (nursing) and I make terrible choices then!
Success: (1) I'm keeping up with my Couch to 5K program, just did day 6!
(2) Last Saturday after my run, I did not go back to buy a donut at the track (and they had my fave) and I only ordered a non-fat mocha from Starbucks. Even the small successes count!
What is your goal for next week? 1 goal for me would be to eat a fruit or veggie first when the snacking urge hits me. Then if I'm still hungry, I can have something good. :) I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not.

Egg Sandwich
Scramble 1 egg with 2 tsp water, microwave for 35 sec in bowl (sprayed with nonfat cooking spray), flip egg and MW 15 more seconds. Serve on toasted lowfat bread sprayed with "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. This works out to be about 3 WW points, I think.
