5 on Friday

1. A few months ago I took a trip to IKEA with my good friend, Amy.  While there, she and I brainstormed ideas to turn this $9.99 side table from there that I was using as a kid's table in the playroom into a craft table.  I found a $2 towel rod that fit perfectly and happened to already have the pink buckets from the $1 aisle at Target.  I finally had Robbie install the towel rod this week and voila! Instant arts and crafts table!

2.   Maggie started preschool at Macfeat this week.  Mrs. Chamberlain described her as very different from Campbell and very talkative.  Anyone surprised?  She is adjusting well and having lots of fun already!

3)  Robbie is playing in an adult men's basketball league.  This week was his first game and the girls and I really enjoyed going.  The girls kept calling his name, cheering for him, and blowing him kisses.  We also had fun being silly with the camera :)

4. Campbell is such a trouper about this broken arm.  She is not letting it keep her down.  She insisted on figuring out how to ride a scooter and her bike.  And although she wasn't happy about having to have her training wheels put back on, she is putting up with it to get to ride her bike.  I'm so proud of her strength, courage, and resilience!

5.  This picture is actually from a couple of weeks ago (hence the cast-less arm on Campbell) but I haven't shared it on the blog and I love it. It's from a recent trip to Target with our two princesses.  Sometimes when the girls are playing dress-up and it's time to go run an errand, it just works out better for everyone if they can go as princesses!
