5 on Friday

Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:

1.  Campbell is adjusting so well to kindergarten.  We are so proud of her!  (and a little sad, too, to see how grown up she's getting)  Wednesday was the first day we did the curb drop-off at school rather than walking her in.  She didn't bat an eye and got out of the car like a pro.

Her teacher has had to do a little adjusting, too...to having a student with an arm in a cast!:

2.  This past weekend we drove to an outlet mall which happened to have a playground.  On the playground, there was a coin-operated ride that the girls enjoyed.   Since I like to encourage their imaginations (and I had no quarters with me), I didn't feel the need to pay for the machine to actually work.  An older lady walked by and took pity on my girls.  She offered them enough quarters for both to get a real ride...and even found an extra one when the ride stole one of the quarters!  The girls were really excited and we all thanked the sweet and generous stranger.
We enjoyed seeing "Uncle Bryan" while we were there, too!  It's always a thrill for the girls to get to go for a ride in his race car!

3.  Campbell has been busy giving other family members casts, too!  She had to get her arm re-casted last week so Robbie salvaged her old cast and glued it back together.  Her round friend, Mike, is now sporting it!
Even baby got a cast!

4.  Hello Kitty needs a ride, too!

5.  Today I picked Campbell up first after school so that she could go with me to Macfeat to get Maggie and see her old teachers.  When she walked in and saw Jainam, one of her BFFs from last year, she was so excited.  He was just as thrilled to see her and they both ran around the school holding hands, laughing, and playing.  They were so happy that we invited him to join us for our planned afternoon trip to Sweet Frog.  We all really enjoyed seeing how happy they were at their reunion!
