6 on Saturday

I didn't quite get time to post a 5 on Friday yesterday, so here is a 6 on Saturday instead!

Here are six reasons I'm loving my girls this week:

1.  Campbell has been a real trouper this week about her arm.  If it had been me who had basically broken my forearm in half, I would have whined a whole lot more and been much more pitiful. On Tuesday we went to our favorite place, Target, and got an Icee and popcorn and walked around for a couple of minutes.  Campbell took her stuffed animal, Mike (from Monsters, Inc), that was a gift from her Grandma and Grandpa Parker.  It has turned out to be the perfect cast pillow!

By Thursday she told me her arm didn't hurt at all so we walked to the church playground near our house.  Her only limitations were the ones I placed on her: such as not climbing the slide, swinging, or climbing the monkey bars.  In fact, when we were going to bed that night, I told her I had fun at the park.  She told me: "I didn't have so much fun.  You wouldn't let me do anything!"

2.  Maggie is a nut with a quick sense of humor already.  I accidentally knocked a wine glass out of the cabinet and it broke.  She yelled "Oh no! It was your favorite!"  I had to giggle a bit...

3. Campbell asked me Tuesday: "Mommy, can I go play on the waterslide?"  My answer: "Ummm, no baby, no you can't."  She thought it was because she can't get her cast wet which is the smallest on my list of reasons!

4.  Maggie is ready for the CrossFit Games!


5.  We had Campbell's "Meet the Teacher" today.  She enjoyed seeing her classroom although we were all a little overwhelmed with all the people.  We were happy to see that we knew several of the parents and kids in the class.  Campbell is a little nervous, but I know that after the initial transition, that she will really love it.  Her teacher is super-sweet and the classroom has a great combination of play (home living center, blocks, etc) and academics.

6.  Seriously, could she be any cuter?
