I wanted to give you an update . . . . . good news, the baby is fine and healthy. Everything looks great on the ultrasound and monitors.
Not such good news . . . Martha's 26 weeks and her BP is super high (140+/100). They found some protein in her urine and they are fairly confident that it's preeclampsia (http://www.preeclampsia.org/about.asp). It's been getting progressively worse over the past week. There is a good chance that on Monday, when we go back for one more test, they are going to go ahead and put her in the hospital. They only "cure" for preeclampsia is delivery so if they put her in the hospital, they they will try to help "develop the baby's organs" so they can deliver it as soon as it gets too bad for Martha's health.
I'll post again Monday evening after our 3pm doctor follow-up appointment.

My prayers are with you three. I am confident that everything will be ok and soon you will have a precious baby girl. Stay strong and keep the faith knowing that the doctors know what they are doing! Please take care of yourself and I will keep an eye on your students so don't worry about them. Take care and be strong!
