So yesterday we were feeling pretty optimistic about having to only spend one night at Piedmont . . . but today that bubble was burst. Last night, 1am, and 4am, Martha's blood pressure was sitting at "normal" (actually below normal) which was good. This lasted until her 1pm, then 5pm reading when it returned to it's usual "preeclampsia" number of 140/90ish.
The doctor came in around 7 to check on her and he let us know that depending on the results of her protein test, she'll probably be in til Thursday. Well at 9:30pm, the protein results came in and it has doubled in 48 hours (from 900 to 1800) which is not very good.
In a nutshell, we're expecting the doctor to come talk with us tomorrow about other options which includes the possibility of moving to a "level 3 nursery" hospital (Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte or Richland Memorial in Columbia) and or giving her steroids which will help Campbell's organs and lungs develop so they can deliver as soon as they determine it's no longer safe for Martha.
Martha's spirits are about as good as to be expected, giving our current situation tonight. Please feel free to leave Martha and Campbell (and Robbie if you'd like) a message under the "comments" section below. We'll try to keep the blog updated as soon as we have more information. Also, keep your thoughts and prayers coming . . . they are much appreciated and all heard!

Hey Rob and Martha,
Wow! I had no idea you were having problems. You are certainly in my prayers!! It's so weird...I've had you on my mind this week. Bedrest is no fun...I had to do that for both of my boys (10 weeks for my youngest)...that was tough. I'm thinking about you and will check your blog page. Rob--I know you're being sweet to Martha--she needs your TLC!

Martha and Robbie,
I am thinking about you all and praying for you. Let us know what hospital you go to because I can come visit either one. Don't worry Martha your little girl will be just fine. Love ya'll.
