5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:

1. Campbell is paci-free! Although nap time has pretty much disappeared, she's sleeping well at night.  Of course, who needs a paci when you have Dora, her friend Boots, the whole cast of Sesame Street, 2 Woody dolls, Jessie, Buzz, a penguin, and a baby doll in bed with you and Belle in her bed next to you?

2.  Campbell has become very aware of her body...especially since potty training.  I was raised calling private parts...well, "private parts" which is what we've been telling Campbell.  Well, she's come up with her own name...it's ummm, well, it's...."candy."  Where she got this, we have no idea but we're pretty sure we'll have to nip this in the bud.

3.  Maggie has a new trick: clapping.  I had hoped to have a cute video to go along with this, but every time we get out the camera, she refuses to do it!

4.  When we took Campbell's birthday donations to the hospital, we had to walk through several automatic doorways.  Each time we walked through, Campbell would look at the door and say "Thank you door.  Thank you too much. You open for me."  I had to giggle at her thanking the door.

5.  The weather has been amazing this week!  We found a swingset on Craigslist and the girls really love it.  I am finally now appreciating having a fenced in back yard now that Campbell is able to go up and down the stairs herself so she can play out there independently (with the windows open so I can watch and listen out for her).

Yay for paci free! It sounds like it wasn't as traumatic as Anna's experience....thank goodness.
