Campbell turns 3

Well, today our former pint-size princess turns 3. How I wish that I could go back to that scary day 3 years ago and tell the scared me about the amazing little girl Campbell would become. Who could have imagined that our little 2 lb, 1 oz preemie would be a spunky, funny, smart, stubborn, beautiful, 30 lb princess in 3 short years.

At 3 years old, Campbell knows most of her letters and numbers, is learning to share her toys, is becoming less of a follower and more of a participant when playing with her friends, and is working hard on potty training (only in diapers at nap and bedtime). Campbell can be dramatic, opinionated, and is learning her boundaries. She makes us laugh every day and shake our heads in wonder at the personality that she has become.

This morning Campbell got a special breakfast treat...her absolute favorite: a chocolate sprinkle donut from Dunkin Donuts.

We had her 3 year pictures made at Picture People.
(The cow shirt and bow are for her cow-themed birthday party next week at
Chick Fil A)

(The shirt design was done by my friend Jaime at http://www.etsy.com/shop/fineprints and the bow was made by a new local favorite All Tied Up.)

Happy belated birthday! I love how she says she's 3 and puts her hand up; too cute.
