5 on Friday

Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:

1.  Robbie and Campbell had a funny conversation in the car this week:  "Daddy, where do you work?" "I work in Columbia." "Do you have a swimming pool at work?" "No, I wish I did." "If you did, I would go to work with you."

2.  Maggie had her 15 month check up today.  Robbie took her and she did great.  She got 1 shot and didn't cry a bit.  She weighs 25 lbs, 7 oz (90th percentile) and 30.5 inches tall (50th percentile).

3.  Campbell has been talking a LOT about dinosaurs, monsters, and witches (where she gets these ideas, I don't know...really!).  She had a little upset tummy this week and told our neighbor, Sarah, (mommy to Campbell's friend, Eleanor) that she had "dinosaurs in my tummy and they make it rumble!"

4.  Campbell loves to sing.  One of her new favorites is "John Jacob Jingleheimer Shmidt".  She walks around our house singing it and it's so sweet...except she eliminates the "m" in the last name which kinda changes the age appropriateness of the song.  Here is a video of her singing skills:

5.  I have really missed Maggie this week (Campbell, too, of course, but it's different because she's older and more independent).  Last night as I was checking on them before I went to bed, I may or may not have given into temptation and pulled a sleeping Maggie out of her bed just so I could cuddle and rock her for a minute.  I may or may not have cried a tear or two as I squeezed her sleeping body to mine...until she woke up and started squirming and I had to put her back.  ::sigh::

the faux pas "Schidt" is pretty funny...she will never know except that this video records it. :) So cute! :)
