Date Nights

If you're friends with us on Facebook,  you've heard lots about Robbie and I going on recent "date nights".  

It all started a couple of months ago when we went to our friend, Lisa's, 30th birthday party.  

We had such a great time being with other grown ups (without kids...sorry, girls if you read this one day) that we realized that we needed to spend more time with each other as a couple, rather than just as parents.

Since then, we have enjoyed several nights out and have really loved our "grown up time."  We've gone out alone and with friends.  I've even bought some new clothes and gotten dressed up which has made it even more fun for me.

We've re-lived old dates (Melting Pot)...

We've gone to wine tastings, visited new restaurants, and even went to our first concert in years!

Thanks to Nana and Pop and our babysitters, Crystal and Abbie, for keeping the girls and to Lisa for inspiring our new adventures!
