Campbell's Happy Place

It's mid-day now so that means it's Robbie posting since I guess I sleep through alarms and feedings. Also, to my fans out there (all 3 of you), I'd like to apologize for the picture of me and "my girls" that Martha posted the other day. If I knew that it would be posted, I would have at least put a shirt on. Speaking of, I have a funny story for you. So a teacher I work with showed one of her students the blog, specifically the "coming home video." Well, at the conclusion of the video, this student said that he wanted to see a picture of me since I didn't put but one picture of me in the video. The teacher scrolled down to the first previous post. That particular post was of Martha and I rooming and the picture of me was the self portrait of me after no sleep from the night before. The student saw this picture and said, "Yuck, he looks bad." Oh well, that's one nice thing about individuals with Asperger's Syndrome . . . . They are brutally honest.

Anyway, I've included another reject picture from another coming home announcement "photo session." We did finally get the perfect picture for our announcement cards! Thank goodness for digital cameras!

The video of Campbell's happy place. One of our friends (and coworker) Susan (rhymes with Musan) gave us a wonderful swing that her daughter, Jillian, outgrew. Campbell loves it! The first few attempts, Campbell wasn't too sure about it, but she now loves it . . . it's her happy place. It's where she spends her time when she's not being fed, changed, or held.

Hey Sweet Campbell,
I think I would love your happy place , also. You look so sweet swinging and looking around. I am so proud of you for weighing five pounds, that means you are being a very good little girl and eating good. I hope you are having a good weekend with both mommy and daddy at home with you. Be sweet!
Love
Cousin Susan

That's a papasan swing, yes, does side to side and front to back?

We got one for our daughter, and when my husband became a stay at home dad, she literally spent all the time she wasn't being changed / fed / held in it too. In fact, she slept in that thing and it was the only thing she'd sleep in until she was 6 months old. We went through a ton of batteries....

I don't know if you know this, Robbie, but Joe and I are co-presidents of your fan club, and the membership is quite large. We have made a killing on the entry fees.
