This is going to be Robbie in the next few days (click to enlarge)
Okay, seriously . . .
If she wasn't so darn cute Martha and I might have to consider sending her back. We received the first of many bills today. Check that out . . . $102,160.00. Could you imagine how many pages the itemized bill would be for her 66 day stay? Maybe for the heck of it, I'll give them a call tomorrow asking for it to be itemized.
Before you start sending me hate mail for making the comment "sending her back," please understand, I don't have buyers remorse . . . I was only kidding. I did some research before she was born and I was expecting her to cost much less. Check out these statistics: "An average middle-class family spent about $10,220 on a baby during the first year of life" (http://www.revolutionhealth.com/healthy-living/pregnancy/planning-pregnancy/financial-planning/cost-baby) If this is the case . . . I guess Martha and I are done spending for her first 10 years!
(Also, before you start sending us your donations, we should let you know that we are lucky to be covered by insurance and due to Campbell's extreme prematurity she qualifies for medicaid which covers most of her expenses while she was in the hospital.)

Love you

Robbie!!!! This is your mother speaking. You owe me several favors..So instead of you settling up with me, send me Campbell. That way you won't have to buy clothes and food for her. I'll just send you her medical bills!!!!!!!
First, Campbell is looking like such a little person these days! I can't believe how much she's grown. Second, Holy Gaucamole that is a HUGE bill!! And we thought Anna was expensive. Thank goodness for insurance. (Robbie, no worries on your "send her back" comments. We talked about selling Anna on Ebay or even to the carnies-aka carnival workers! She better start earning her keep.)
Wait until she's 2 and you might not be joking about sending her back! Just kidding...sort of... most days...

Martha,
She is beautiful! I can not believe how much she has grown. I love the picture of her at bath time. Please know that I check your blog daily and keep you in my thoughts and prayers nightly.
