5 on Friday

1.  The girls had their 1st taste of honeysuckle this week and they both loved it!

2.  My dad used to play this game with us called the "Tickle Monster".  This week I started tickling Campbell and telling her I was the Tickle Monster.  We've had so much fun with it and it brought back a lot of sweet memories for me. 

3.  Every day Campbell has to go to her room for "quiet time" since she no longer naps.  She has toys in her room she can play with or puzzles she can do.  The rule is that if she stays in her room until 2:00 (she has a digital clock and can identify the numbers) and is quiet, she earns a sticker on her sticker chart.  Tuesday I got home from work about 4:00 and our babysitter, Abbie, said Campbell was still in her room.  This was very unusual.  When I finally went in there about 20 minutes later, I found out why she had been so quiet...the little stinker had found one of her old pacis under her bed and was just laying there sucking away happily.  She wasn't too thrilled when I told her we'd have to send it to the babies in the hospital like we did with her other ones...

4. Our babysitter took a couple of pictures of the girls and as always, the outtakes are my favorite ones!

 

5.  The cicada bugs are hatching around here (which is an every 13 year occurrence...if you're not from the South, google it).  You should know that Campbell does NOT like bugs.  She has been very offended that the "ka-kado" bugs and their shells are all over her toys in the backyard, particularly her swingset.  She armed herself with her toy broom and made it her mission to get all of the bugs off her toys in the backyard...
