Here are 5 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:
1. I love how Maggie claps and waves when she sees me and Robbie. She only does it for us and it makes me feel a bit like a celebrity.
2. Campbell calls an umbrella a "rainbrella".
3. Maggie has been a trouper this week with her stitches. She hasn't pulled at them or scratched once. Also, when we took her back for a follow up with her pediatrician this morning, we found out she has ear infections in both ears. Poor kid but I would not have guessed!
4. Campbell is in a bit of a copycat phase when playing with friends. (It doesn't help that most of her friends are a little older.) Last night we had dinner with our friends and neighbors, the Popes. At one point Campbell and their Eleanor had finished dinner but the grown ups were still at the table. Eleanor came up and gave her daddy a hug and a kiss. Campbell watched and decided she needed to give Eleanor's daddy a hug and a kiss. (I think Robbie was a little jealous...)
5. I swear we heard Maggie say "banana" and "more" this week. She says "Mama" and "uh oh" very well and I'm also working on her saying "up" but although that's what she wants most (for one of us to pick her up), still nothing.
Oh, and a bonus picture that Abbie took for me. I wanted to have a good picture of her with her stitches. Isn't it a beautiful picture?
