6 on Saturday

Here are 6 reasons I'm loving my girls this week:

1.  I recently made a pasta dinner that was a big hit.  The next day I was getting out the leftovers to heat up for dinner.  I happened to be holding Maggie as I got the dish out and put it on the counter.  I went and put her in her seat and gave her some Cheerios to munch on while she waited.  The next thing I know, I hear screaming and see Cheerios flying out of her chubby little hand as she threw them off her tray.  She continued to scream until I gave her some of the pasta she had seen and apparently much preferred over Cheerios...

2.  Campbell and her Daddy have started to do something called "silly kisses".  Basically it's a little kiss on the lips then he blows a raspberry.  She just giggles and giggles.

3.  I love it when my girls get excited.  When Maggie gets excited about something, she claps.  When Campbell gets excited about something, she squeals.

4.  The girls went on a field trip to a local farm and Robbie chaperoned.

5.  Aunt Say-say gave Maggie a ride on toy for her birthday.  It's a big hit with both her and Campbell.

6.  Campbell's new saying when we're getting her dressed: "I'm not a mermaid."  This happens frequently when we're helping her get her pants on and both her legs go down into one leg of her pants.  She'll giggle and say "No, that's not right.  I'm not a mermaid." :)

#1 I want the pasta recipe! #6 When Anna gets stuck in one leg we call it a "mer-leg." She says ohh no, I have a mer-leg!

Heather-
It was really simple. I had found some Italian turkey sausage on sale and decided to try it. I just browned it, drained the fat, and mixed it with some spaghetti sauce, whole wheat rotini, and grated Moz. cheese. I topped it with a little more cheese and then baked it on 350 for a half hour. Simple but the girls loved it.
