So today was a great day for Campbell. She nursed for 30 minutes and she did GREAT!!!! She also did another room air trial for 12 hours! I have a feeling at this rate, she'll be promoted to "special care" real soon!
As for the video . . . this evening I changed a dirty (number 2) diaper and got her dressed again. Then all of a sudden, within 1 minute, she was making this face (see video). She was working on another surprise for her daddy!

Oh my Campbell, you are doing so good. I am proud of you. I just can't wait to meet you. I will be going to you shower Saturday and I look forward to seeing pictures of you. Your mommy said not to bring anything, but just between us girls I had to get you a surprise. You may not be able to see it now but one day I think you will love it!

OH! So glad to hear that she was able to breastfeed!! That's awesome! It's so hard to for any baby to do at first much less a little one with recent ventilation/saturation needs. That happens with Anna all the time. She hates clean diapers because as soon as I change one, she makes a mess in the clean one. Also her face turns bright red so I call her "mater-head," like a to-mato. Glad to see this is a universal baby quality!
