I have some exciting news! Today my mommy was coming to visit me and I wanted to surprise her with something special. When she got here, I was breathing all on my own! The doctor decided I had done such a great job on the CPAP that I got to try plain old room air with nothing in my nose. I did really well. I went for about 1 hour and 40 minutes until I got a little tired and they put me back on the CPAP. I was so proud of myself and I could tell my mommy was really proud, too.
I also was excited to hear Nurse Kelley tell her that I weigh 2 and 1/2 pounds (that's 2 pounds and 8.2 ounces to be exact). I heard mommy say that soon I'm going to be a "chunky monkey"...doesn't that sound fun and exciting! I don't know what it means, but I like it!

I love this pic!! I bet you do too without all those extra tubes coming out of her nose. She has a really cute nose. :) Hope you continue to see such great success as she grows. Here's sending you special prayers and love.
Great Day! You are doing so good. And you sure are a pretty little girl without all those tubes. A Chunky Monkey is a good thing! Keep up the good work and we love you Campbell.

Wow, sounds like a very exciting day! We are so glad to hear that so much progress is being made! The little squeaky hiccups made us laugh! Finn thought they were funny!
Thinking of you all...
Your Nana was also there to see your sweet face today. You are so precious and I'm so proud of you. You're making such great progress and you really do look much "chunkier" than you did two weeks ago. Then we could see each rib but now we can't. That is truly something to be proud of. Hopper (okay, Compton)girls need a little meat on their bones. Love you lots, Nana
Hi Martha and Robbie,

Campbell, I'm so excited to see pictures of you each day growing and getting stronger. You are such a beautiful princess, and I'm going to be there this Saturday to see for myself just how far you have come. Grandma and Grandpa love you so much. We also love your mom and dad. See you Saturday my sweet princess
