Hi Everyone!
This is Martha...I thought I'd give Robbie and Campbell a break to bring you today's update.
Campbell is doing well again today. We are so blessed to have such a perfect little baby! She is doing so well and we are so happy to be able to share her progress with you all. She increased her feedings tonight and so far is tolerating it well. Also, today the doctor decided that she will do alternating 6 hour periods on the CPAP and a high-flow nasal cannula. She was on a slower flow nasal cannula (which just means it pushed air with less force) earlier and she had several apnea periods and bradys. She was on the higher flow cannula tonight and doing great with no apnea! We are so proud of her!
I went with Campbell's Nana to see her this morning (Campbell loves it when her Nana comes to see her!) and then again with Robbie tonight. We are trying to get used to Robbie being back at work and coming up with some sort of schedule. He got to hold her for 45 minutes and change her diaper. Can you tell how big his hands look with that little diaper?!?
Also, many of you have asked about me. I'm doing well. I had an appointment with the Dr. today and my blood pressure is still a little high so he's keeping me on the medicine for about another week. Other than that, I am doing great! I really feel amazingly well for just having had a baby 11 days ago! I would totally do this whole C-section thing again :)
I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. Check out the card that Campbell made for us (ok, nurse Kelley might have helped her a little bit)!
See you all soon!
