I love my nurses . . .

Good morning world! I had a good night last night. They were able to decrease my oxygen just a little. However, they are talking about having to put some Surfactant in my lungs. The technical definition of Surfactant is a material that can greatly reduce the surface tension. Basically it is going to loosen my lungs up a little to help me breath easier. I'm still going to remain on the bubble c-pap which makes me happy. My daddy had a scare this morning. When he came in to see me, there was two doctors, two nurses and a respiratory therapist standing over my bed . . . it was just their normal twice a day rounds. The top picture is of the blood pressure cuff on my leg.
I really like my nurse from last night. Look at the nice sign she made for my isolette. I haven't seen it yet, but my mommy tells me that that pattern and colors are the same in my nursery. I really can't wait to see my nursery.

It's amazing, but her name sign's background looks just like the sheets in her nursery! What a great preview for her to see what waiting for her in her cozy room!
