Good Morning from Charlotte

Good morning everyone . . . another wonderful night spent in a hospital. Martha's doing great. her BP stayed around 120/75 last night which is WONDERFUL!!! I'm not sure if it's left over from the Magnesium drip or her Ambien, but regardless those are good numbers.

The nurses and doctors are wonderful here and we couldn't be more pleased. We're hoping today to take the full NICU tour instead of the abbreviated one that I took last night. I was able to see a 27 week preemie . . . how cute!!!

I've added a few pictures for your viewing pleasure . . . that's me finding the heartbeat for the non-stress test yesterday in Piedmont. The nurse wasn't able to find it and left to get someone to help . . . but Robbie the handyman to the rescue. The second picture is Martha preparing for her ambulance drive . . . you know her, she can't go anywhere without "putting her face on." The third is our sleeping situation last night. They were nice and moved Martha off the horrible labor bed and put her into a nice, soft, comfortable, soft, soft bed . . . thank goodness. The bed I'm sleeping on . . . well that's the bed they moved Martha off of and gave to me. Notice the nice dip (for you butt I'm guessing) that I was fortunate enough to sleep on.

The plan for the day is to wait on the lab results from 5:30 this morning. They are also going to move us from the labor delivery room to the "special care" wing for mothers who are waiting to deliver. I think the rooms in the special wing are nicer since they are for long term residents. We'll post once we get them back . . . thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
