What A Wonderful Night . . .

Tonight was an amazing night . . . My mommy and daddy got to hold me for the first time. I had to stay in my isolette, but if I sleep well tonight, they might get to hold me outside tomorrow. The nurses also took out one of my belly button tubes and put a pic-line in my arm. This is a good thing! I was also weighed and I lost a little weight (1lb 13.7oz), but that's to be expected. Also, my daddy got to feed me some of my mommy's milk. Finally, when my daddy came down to see me, it was right when they took out that line from my belly and I was crying up a storm. Well, the nurse gave me a paci and it worked . . . I stopped crying!!!
About that last picture . . . that's my daddy's wedding ring! Why he likes taking pictures like this, I'll never know! Good Night, I need my rest so my mommy and daddy can hold me again tomorrow! Ta-ta

Campbell, you are so pretty. You might as well get use to your daddy taking picture because I have a feeling that will continue for years! We are praying for you each day and know that you are going to be fine.

Dear Family-
That is so exciting that you have already been able to hold Campbell and I know she loved it too. I loved the video-- she really is spunky, isn't she.
Campbell-
You are already a superstar and have more friends than you even know. We pray for you often! Reagan loved the pictures of you. You will have to meet her soon. She is a little wild though, but she too started out with lots of tubes. Maybe you guys can exchange stories :)
Love to you all,
Jennifer
