We had a great morning visit! One the way out the door we received a call from the NICU . . . and our heart drops! However, this was a good call. It was from Doctor Howell. He was calling us to let us know that Campbell had a great night and that she's doing great. He's hoping to increase her feedings from .6ml to 1.2ml on Thursday. This increase will not only help her grow, but it will help encourage better bowels . . . if you know what I mean. =)
They are going to start giving her sodium chloride during her feedings. Since her kidneys are still developing, they are not putting out enough salt into her body. Her sodium numbers are real low.

Well that's about it. We're heading back to the NICU this evening . . . and I have a feeling that Campbell is going to want to post after our visit.

Another good day...we are so glad to hear it! We are in Charleston tonight and getting together with the girls so I will pass the word along! Call us if you want to (around 7) if you are not too busy! We would love to hear your voices!
I was so excited about Campbell sucking her paci! Julia and I played it over and over. Julia said that her heart just hurts for Campbell(she is such a caring little girl) We are glad to see the weight gain. You go girl!

Good Morning Campbell it was so good to hear from you again. You are getting so much stronger each day. Your daddy writes really nice blogs about you, but I think you are a better writer(don't tell him I said that)Just kidding, Robbie!
